Though I said I’ve been learning Blender and C4D for motion graphics, I could possibly transition to other fields. However, I'm scared off by opinions that say those who learn Blender could be jobless. Honestly I prefer Blender because I don’t need to pay for it, while people with C4D pay for not only the software itself but X-Particles and renderers like Redshift, Octane. However, I’ve also heard that Blender isn’t really a nice choice to get a job even though I’m going to start looking for a job in 5 years. I’ve switched between both software for several times, and I eventually decided to keep up with Blender because I liked its rapidly-growing community and lots of new advanced features such as geometry nodes. I’m a college student who first started learning 3D stuff with Blender and C4D in early 2021 for motion graphics (usually creating product commercial videos).
